How we do it.
- Open cell never on bare metal.It goes on OSB or a proper liner, 4 inches or more.
- Closed cell can go on the metal.2 inches or more, with a coating strongly recommended.
- Equipment comes out first.The building has to be completely empty before we spray.
- We bring the lifts and scaffolding.No rentals needed to reach the roof line.

R-value measures how well insulation holds back heat. Higher is better. Closed cell is rigid and also blocks moisture; open cell is softer and dampens sound. Ranges are from Universal Polymers (UPC) data sheets, tested at 1 inch. We choose the foam for each job. See the data sheets

How long before people or animals can go back in?
People, pets and livestock can go back in after 12 to 24 hours.
Can you spray in winter?
Spray foam is temperature sensitive. We don't spray below 20°F except in certain situations, and we check the conditions before every job.
Does foam on metal need a coating?
Closed cell can go directly on metal, and we strongly recommend a coating over it. Several coatings can go over foam, and we can supply one if you need it.
